Vildanden is a fresh and varied area with both corridor rooms for those who want more of a student life, and apartments for those who like to be a bit more private. If you have a family, Vildanden is ideal because the larger apartments are apart from the others. In some corridors on Ällingavägen 11 B a test is going on of double habitation. Therefore it is possible to have a lodger in your room. The lodger must meet AFB Queue and rental terms, e.g. age limit for living in a corridor.
There’s also a lot to study for those who are interested in architecture. Over the years, Vildanden has attracted a great deal of attention for both architecture and layout. Despite its size, the site is characterised by a feeling of freedom and green spaces.
The residential buildings surround the airy courtyards with their enormous chestnut and other trees in various colours. In between the various parts of the site, there are wide grassy areas bordered by hundreds of metres of hornbeam. It’s the perfect environment for spontaneous study in the sun, or for sports and other outdoor activities.
The business centre is within walking distance, and if you have a bike you can get to the centre of Lund in less than 10 minutes.
