When you rent furnished accommodation, the furniture should remain there when you move.
Storage facilities and electricity
Your tenancy agreement will state whether you have storage facilities and whether the cost of electricity is included in your rent. If your contract says ”electricity is charged by AF Bostäder” you needn’t get your own subscription. If electricity isn’t included in your rent you must get your own electricity subscription. Remember to do this well in time so that you have electricity in your apartment from the day you move in. You sign for an electricity subscription for example with Lunds Energi on their website press here. On the form you have to fill in every field. In the field Anläggningsnummer write “saknas” and in the field Lägenhetsnummer write the four last numbers in your apartment number (see your tenancy agreement). If you don't have an apartment number, leave the field empty. If Area ID (Områdes ID) is asked for fill in "LUN" and the Net owner (Nätägare) is "Lunds Energi AB".
Cable TV - report faults on the net to Comhem
The TV socket is connected to a cable TV network offering a basic service. If you have questions about the basic service or want to expand the service or report a fault on the cable TV network, contact comhem on tel 0771-55 00 00, or visit www.comhem.se. It is not permitted to set up external antennas.
Computer connection
Put your cable into the network socket (use the left), open a browser and you will automatically get up the Stadsnätet (City Network) Registration portal. Here you first open a user account which is confirmed directly on the screen. Choose desired Internet Service. Then you are ready to go! If you need further help download the broschure on Broadband.
Laundry
Almost every laundry room booking at AF Bostäder is achieved electronically – via www.afb.se or via an electronic booking board. More information is available after logging in under Book laundry.
Only AF Bostäder's tenants are permitted to use the laundry rooms. Follow the instructions in the wash house. Never wash blankets and carpets in the machines. In the event of a machine fault, send in a fault report via www.afb.se or directly to your caretaker. AF Bostäder is not liable for any damage to clothes. Your own home insurance applies.
