Sweden’s most compact student apartments
Allow us to present Bokompakt – Sweden’s most compact and absolute coolest student living spaces! Bokompakt is a development project in which we challenge today’s building regulations in order to build student housing of high quality with low living costs. Traditional accommodation with bulky wardrobes and furniture has given way to the Bokompakt vision – new, smart and eco-friendly. The apartments are small, with some fixed furnishings, built-in loft beds (excluding mattress), simple storage, open shelving and a shower in the compact bathroom. Note that the Bokompakt apartments are built with an exemption from the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning’s building regulations concerning accessibility requirements and therefore are not suitable for wheelchair users.
There is a big feel-good factor with great layouts and daylight from two directions. The apartments are also packed with good green ideas. For instance, they are built entirely of wood and virtually self-sufficient in terms of heating, due to intelligent energy solutions such as solar panels and recycling of wastewater heat.
Bokompakt is in north-east Lund at Kämnärsvägen. The area is green, leafy, very pleasant and appreciated by the students. Campuskilen, the pedestrian area that winds through the area, offers a wide range of activities such as outdoor gym, boules court, table tennis and barbecuce areas.
Here you live close to LTH and the School of Economics. Student nation life, the centre of Lund and all the university institutions are within easy cycling distance. The neighbourhood offers a wide range of services such as food store, pharmacy, post office, gym, swimming pool, jogging track and green areas.
The rent includes hot water, storage, a designated place in the cycle rack and internet bandwidth of 1 GB. There is no TV outlet.
At AF Bostäder you live in a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited both in the accommodation and shared spaces such as stairwells and laundry rooms.
