Absolutely fabulous!
Sagoeken is located in the Kämnärsrätten area of northeast Lund. Here you will live in a recognised pleasant campus environment in one of Sweden’s largest student housing areas. The area opened in 2019 as the first stage in a newly developed and modern student housing area that focuses on sustainability and wellbeing.
Sagoeken consists of two connected five-story buildings. On the ground floor is a municipal school and pre-school for a total of 300 children. The other floors provide space for 175 identical one-room apartments for students. The housing units, which are all of the same model, were prefabricated entirely in wood in Piteå and transported to Lund. The entire quarter is permeated by outdoor life with plenty of light, air, space and greenery. The outdoor environment is park-like with both shady oaks and good spaces for games, barbecuing and socialising. Sagoeken has been carefully planned so that children and students can thrive without disturbing each other.
Campuskilen, the pedestrian area that winds through the area, offers a wide range of activities such as outdoor gym, boules court, table tennis and barbecuce areas.
At Sagoeken you live close to LTH and the School of Economics. Student nation life, the centre of Lund and all the university institutions are within easy cycling distance. The neighbourhood offers a wide range of services such as food store, pharmacy, post office, gym, swimming pool, jogging track and green areas.
The rent includes electricity, hot water, detergent, storage, a designated place in the cycle rack and internet bandwidth of 1 GB. There is no TV outlet.
At AF Bostäder you live in a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited both in the accommodation and shared spaces such as stairwells and laundry rooms.
New construction is being carried out in the area. There may be disturbances from nearby construction sites. For more information, see under ongoing projects.
