Bathroom cleaning tips


Clean the hand basin

Use: Limescale remover, non-scratching sponge, and dry cloth.

  1. Spray limescale remover onto the hand basin and mixer tap. Follow the instructions on the product.
  2. Clean with a non-scratching sponge.
  3. Rinse with cold water.
  4. Dry to a shiny finish with a dry cloth.

Clean the toilet

Use: Toilet cleaner, toilet brush, detergent, and a cloth.

  1. Pour the toilet cleaner into the toilet and clean with the toilet brush. Follow the instructions on the product.
  2. Wipe the toilet seat with detergent and a damp cloth.
  3. Dry with a dry cloth. 

Clean the shower

Use: Limescale remover, scrubbing brush, rubber scraper, and a cloth.

  1. Spray limescale remover on the shower walls and floor.
  2. Wait for a few minutes. Follow the instructions for the limescale remover.
  3. Rinse thoroughly with cold water.
  4. Remove excess water with the rubber scraper.
  5. Dry with a dry cloth.

Clean the shower drain

Use: Sponge/dish brush and detergent.

Cleaning drain with barrel

  1. Remove the strainer where the water drains.
  2. Pull out the drain barrel.
  3. Clean the barrel (inside and out).
  4. Clean the drain.
  5. Replace the barrel. Push it down firmly to avoid unpleasant odors.
  6. Fill the barrel with water.
  7. Replace the strainer and, if there is one, the plastic pipe to the bathtub.

Cleaning cast iron drain

  1. Remove the strainer where the water drains.
  2. Clean the inside.
  3. Flush with a strong jet of water.
  4. Replace the strainer.
