Bathroom cleaning tips
Clean the hand basin
Use: Limescale remover, non-scratching sponge, and dry cloth.
- Spray limescale remover onto the hand basin and mixer tap. Follow the instructions on the product.
- Clean with a non-scratching sponge.
- Rinse with cold water.
- Dry to a shiny finish with a dry cloth.
Clean the toilet
Use: Toilet cleaner, toilet brush, detergent, and a cloth.
- Pour the toilet cleaner into the toilet and clean with the toilet brush. Follow the instructions on the product.
- Wipe the toilet seat with detergent and a damp cloth.
- Dry with a dry cloth.
Clean the shower
Use: Limescale remover, scrubbing brush, rubber scraper, and a cloth.
- Spray limescale remover on the shower walls and floor.
- Wait for a few minutes. Follow the instructions for the limescale remover.
- Rinse thoroughly with cold water.
- Remove excess water with the rubber scraper.
- Dry with a dry cloth.
Clean the shower drain
Use: Sponge/dish brush and detergent.
Cleaning drain with barrel
- Remove the strainer where the water drains.
- Pull out the drain barrel.
- Clean the barrel (inside and out).
- Clean the drain.
- Replace the barrel. Push it down firmly to avoid unpleasant odors.
- Fill the barrel with water.
- Replace the strainer and, if there is one, the plastic pipe to the bathtub.
Cleaning cast iron drain
- Remove the strainer where the water drains.
- Clean the inside.
- Flush with a strong jet of water.
- Replace the strainer.
