Here are the winners of this year’s gingerbread house competition! A big congratulations to Delphi 55 L 1213–1224, who take home first prize with their spectacular creation, “Gingerbread Millennium Falcon”! (Top image shows the winning entry.)

AF Bostäder has once again been named Cycle-Friendly Workplace of the Year in the medium-sized company category for 2025. We are both proud and delighted to receive the award again.

The draw for queue times is complete, and we have started renting out the 250 housing units reserved for novisch students for the spring semester of 2026.

Today, the letters of acceptance have been sent out. Congratulations on being accepted! Are you a new student at Lund University and living outside Skåne? If so, you can take part in the novisch lottery to increase your chances of getting student accommodation in Lund by the start of term.

THE COMPETITION IS CLOSED. We know that baking and decorating are happening in many of our corridors. There's probably a gingerbread house or two being built as well. Take the opportunity to compete for an ICA gift card by showcasing your corridor's gingerbread house.

Following negotiations with the Swedish Union of Tenants, AF Bostäder will adjust rents for 6,200 student homes by approximately 3% from 1 January 2026.

At the moment, we're in the process of reviewing the academic results of our tenants, known as study control. We regularly verify the tenants' academic performance, to ensure that they carry out active studies in accordance with the Housing list and rental conditions.

This Halloween, AF Bostäder invited all our tenants to take part in our scariest photo contest, and wow, what a response! We received an amazing variety of creative entries, featuring everything from eerie decorations to horror movie scenes worthy of the big screen.

Delphinenbadet was built in the 1960s as part of the student housing area Delphi. The pool, owned by AF Bostäder, is one of Sweden’s oldest indoor swimming facilities, and many Lund residents have taken their first strokes here. Today, the pool is part of Actic’s fitness centre at Delphi.

Lund's most Lund-style marathon race is finally back! On Saturday 20 September, 300 students will run or walk from Marathon, along a distance of approximately 5 km, and back to Marathon for the finish line.

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED! If you live with AF Bostäder, you can now take part in an outdoor football league free of charge, in collaboration with LUGI Motion. Gather your team and face other housing areas in an exciting tournament for the chance to claim victory and bragging rights on the pitch.

With only days to go before the autumn admission results are released, Lund’s three largest student housing providers have published a joint report showing that the housing situation for new students remains positive, and far better than many might believe.

On 30 June 2025, we will shut down the remaining TV sockets in our student housing areas. In corridor kitchens, the current setup will be replaced by a new and improved TV service delivered via the broadband connection.

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED! On the 11th of May, AF Bostäder is organizing a hiking trip to Frostavallen in Höör, in collaboration with LUGI motion. More and more students are now studying part-time. As a result, AF Bostäder is changing the rules for student housing: from now on, students enrolled in part-time studies will only be allowed to live in their student housing every other week. The remaining weeks, the same housing unit will be used by another part-time student.

Student-Mello 2025 has delivered a fantastic show, featuring creative and engaging entries from our students. Now, the jury has made its decision – here are this year’s winners!

COMPETITION IS CLOSED! Last year, we launched Student-Mello at AF Bostäder, and it was a huge success! Now it’s time again, and you have the chance to claim the prestigious Mello statuette. Compete solo or with your friends – bring on the creativity, sequins, dance, music, acting, or whatever makes your performance shine. The stage is yours!

AF Bostäder's mission is to provide housing for active students at Lund University, and we follow up on this every semester. We also conduct regular controls to ensure that the accommodation is used correctly and to prevent any unauthorized sub-letting.

Rhodos has been named the winner of the Student Housing Award 2024. The award, presented by Studentbostadsföretagen, highlights innovation, sustainability, and design in newly built student housing. The jury particularly praised Rhodos' innovative design, diverse range of housing options, and low climate impact.
