Weekly cleaning of the corridor


Here are the cleaning tasks assigned to the person responsible for cleaning each week and what the others living in the corridor should keep in mind.

To bear in mind every day, for everyone:

  • Wash up crockery, glasses, saucepans and utensils immediately after use.
  • Put back dry items in cupboards and drawers.
  • Wipe down surfaces such as draining board, worktops, cooker and tables.
  • Empty the sink and throw away food waste.
  • Sort your waste.
  • Ensure that no objects are blocking the corridor.

To bear in mind every week, for the person responsible for cleaning:

  • Take the sorted waste to the waste station – as soon as it is required.
  • Clean the waste sorting bins, when required.
  • Wipe down tables and worktops.
  • Clean the oven. If you have a glass hob – use a hob scraper, when required.
  • Clean the microwave.
  • Wipe down the outside of the oven.
  • Wipe down the cooker hood.
  • Wipe down the fridge and freezer. (Note! Never use a sponge on the outside – it can cause scratches)
  • Hoover and mop the floor.
  • Clean the shared shower facilities. (Only applies to Ulrikedal and Parentesen).
  • Recover the deposit on bottles and cans.
