White shoe soles with bicarbonate paste


This is how easily you can get your shoe soles chalk white again with bicarbonate paste.

You will need:

  • Bicarbonate, 2 parts (e.g. 2 dl)
  • Water, 1 part (e.g. 1 dl)
  • Jar with a tight-fitting lid
  • Toothbrush
  • Damp cloth

Here's what to do:

  1. Pour the ingredients into a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  2. Mix thoroughly and close the lid.
  3. Scrub the shoe soles with the toothbrush and bicarbonate paste.
  4. Wipe off with a damp cloth.
  5. Done!

Other uses for bicarbonate paste:

  • Clean the oven
  • Clean tile and grout joints
  • Remove lime stains from tiles and grout
  • Clean rubber boots
