AF Bostäder's annual report and sustainability report for 2024

2024 brought many exciting events and sustainability initiatives. Among other things, social, environmental, and economic sustainability were joined by cultural sustainability, with a new strategy now in place. The information campaign Hjälp, which has so far focused on mental health, now also provides contact options for issues related to alcohol and drug use. In addition, AF Bostäder’s sustainable operational targets expired and have been renewed for 2025, and a new global goal on health has been prioritised.

Other key events from the year:

Rhodos was inaugurated, welcomed its first residents, and received an award
Rhodos was inaugurated in 2024 and received the Student Housing Prize, recognised for its pleasant living environment, green outdoor areas, and low climate impact. It now houses around 270 students.

Free bicycle service for students
AF Bostäder wants to support sustainable cycling and in 2024 offered free bike service to students at three housing areas.

New report shows good availability of student housing
In a joint report, three of Lund’s largest student housing providers concluded that the student housing market in Lund is healthy and balanced.

Careful maintenance ensures Sparta’s future
AF Bostäder has launched a long-term renovation of Sparta, starting with the refurbishment of windows, sewer pipes, and stormwater drainage.
