New report confirms continued availability of student housing
With only days to go before the autumn admission results are released, Lund’s three largest student housing providers have published a joint report showing that the housing situation for new students remains positive, and far better than many might believe.
Student life in Lund is rich in tradition, but also full of myths. One of the most persistent is the idea that it’s difficult, if not impossible, for new students to find accommodation before the start of term. Now, AF Bostäder, LU Accommodation and BoPoolen present an updated report that paints a more accurate picture.
The report confirms that there is once again a surplus of student housing in Lund this year. Several hundred corridor rooms and other student-oriented housing options are available for the autumn term, often with short or no waiting times.
