The housing queue for new students spring 2026 is now open
Today, the letters of acceptance have been sent out. Congratulations on being accepted! Are you a new student at Lund University and living outside Skåne? If so, you can take part in the novisch lottery to increase your chances of getting student accommodation in Lund by the start of term.
We are reserving at least 250 student housing units for new students, with move-in dates on 1 January and 1 February 2026. These are mainly corridor rooms, but also some one-room apartments in Lund.
How to take part in the novisch lottery
- Submit a housing application on 10–11 December.
- On 12 December, we will draw queue times for novisch students. You will then receive a queue date and time.
- Once you have your queue time, you can start booking available novisch student housing units via our website.
