AF Bostäder’s Annual Report and Sustainability Report for 2025

2025 has been an eventful year, with a continued focus on developing sustainable and attractive student housing. Among other initiatives, a new environmental sustainability strategy has been introduced to guide efforts in areas such as energy, climate, circularity and biodiversity. At the same time, investments in social and cultural sustainability have continued, with expanded information and support for students, as well as more activities that promote wellbeing and a sense of community.

Other key developments during the year:

Good availability of student housing in Lund
AF Bostäder’s joint housing report shows that the market in Lund remains balanced, with good availability of accommodation for new students.

Sweden’s best student housing company – again
Students have once again given AF Bostäder the highest rating among larger student housing providers. This year’s Customer Satisfaction Index (NKI) reached 80 out of 100 – a testament to a long-term customer focus and continuous improvement.

More solar panels and a new energy target
A new energy target has been introduced, aiming to reduce the amount of purchased energy. The target includes initiatives to improve energy efficiency alongside investments in on-site electricity generation through solar panel installations.

Art and a local art walk
AF Bostäder’s residential areas feature unique works of art, now highlighted on the website. Clear signage and a digital art map make it easier to explore and discover the artwork.
