The housing queue for new students autumn 2026 is now open
Today, the letters of acceptance have been sent out. Congratulations on being accepted! Are you a new student at Lund University and living outside Skåne? If so, you can take part in the novisch lottery to increase your chances of getting student accommodation in Lund by the start of the semester.
We reserve at least 900 student housing units (corridor rooms and one-room apartments) for new students, with move-in dates on 1 August, 1 September and 1 October 2026.
How to take part in the novisch lottery
- Submit a housing application between 10 and 12 July.
- On 13 July, we will draw queue times for novisch students. Your queue time consists of a queue date and a specific time.
- You can then start booking available novisch student housing units at afbostader.se/en.
