Three quick questions for our new Residence Representative

Question 1: Why did you choose to become the students' elected representative at AF Bostäder?

Answer: Having a good housing situation is essential for students to be able to study, get involved in student life and enjoy their time in Lund. As Residence Representative, I saw an opportunity to actively strengthen the dialogue between students, Akademiska Föreningen and AF Bostäder, while also working to ensure that students’ needs are clearly heard and taken into account.

Question 2: What are you looking most forward to during your year as Residence Representative?

Answer: I’m looking forward to a year in which I can gain as much knowledge and experience as possible, so that I can help improve the housing situation in Lund even further! I’m also looking forward to representing students in both board and management meetings, helping to ensure that AF Bostäder continues to be a housing company that puts students first.

Question 3: Do you have any tips for students living with AF Bostäder?

Answer: For those who don’t yet live with AF Bostäder, my first and perhaps most obvious tip is to join AF Bostäder’s housing queue as soon as possible! You can sometimes get a corridor room through AF Bostäder very quickly, and that could be the start of an amazing time in Lund!

For those of you who already live with AF Bostäder, I’d like to highlight all the fruit trees around our housing areas! You can find apples at Ulrikedal and pears at Kämnärsrätten, among others. You’ll find their exact locations on our website!
