Welcome to Lund University! To make it easier for new students, known as novisch students, to find housing at the beginning of the semester, we offer novisch priority. Queue times are allocated through a lottery system, ensuring a fair process for all eligible applicants. Below, you will find a step-by-step guide on how to apply for student housing as a novisch student.
The new Lund University students, known as Novisch students, received their admission offers at the end of last week. Around 2,650 of them have now joined AF Bostäder’s novisch queue, which gives priority access to at least 900 student accommodation units.
The draw for queue times has now been completed, and we have started renting out the 900 student housing units reserved for novisch students starting in the autumn semester 2026.
